Another successful Guahan Isan Famagu’on Lions Club General Membership Meeting! We were honored to welcome our special guest, FVDG Lion Mar Masilungan, who introduced himself, shared inspiring remarks, and graciously answered questions from our members. During the meeting, Reading Action Program (RAP) Chair Dr. Matilda Naputi Rivera and Region 1 RAP Co-Chair Lion Mae Mendiola presented a book donation to FVDG Lion Mar for delivery to Region 2 RAP Co-Chair Lion Annibelle Lopena, continuing our shared commitment to promoting literacy and serving our communities. The Guahan Isan Famagu’on Lions Club proudly celebrated a successful End-of-Year Dinner Meeting and Induction Ceremony for the Lion Year 2026–2027 Board of Directors, Officers, and Committee Chairpersons on June 19, 2026, at the VIP Restaurant in Tumon. The evening recognized the accomplishments of the outgoing leadership while welcoming the incoming team committed to another year of dedicated service to the community. LY 2025-2026 Leo Camp Out

Held from March 27–29, 2026, in Saipan, CNMI, the Leo Camp Out brought together young leaders for a weekend of teamwork, leadership development, and community building. Participants engaged in meaningful activities that fostered camaraderie, service, and the spirit of Lionism in a fun and supportive outdoor setting.

Lions Clubs International District 204 Celebrates CHamoru Month Through Stories and Community

Biba Mes CHamoru! 🇬🇺🌴 The D204 Lions Clubs CHamoru Saturday Story Time was a wonderful celebration of culture, literacy, and community. A heartfelt Si Yu’os Ma’åse’ goes out to our inspiring Featured Readers, Lion Francisca “Frances” Blanco and Tricia Tenorio, who generously shared their time and voices to bring stories to life for our young listeners and families. Through storytelling, they helped highlight the beauty of CHamoru culture, language, and island traditions during this special month of cultural pride. We also extend our gratitude to the families, children, and community members who joined us and helped make the event meaningful and memorable. We would also like to recognize the Guåhan Isan Famagu'on Lions Club Leos, who, together with Lion Saina Bea, shared traditional amot (medicinal herbs) and explained their importance to our culture. A special Si Yu’os Ma’åse’ also goes out to Mariquita “Tita” Calvo Leon Guerrero for generously providing guguria treats for the storytime. Moments like these remind us that reading together strengthens our connections, nurtures a love of learning, and helps pass our cultural heritage on to the next generation. 📚🌴🇬🇺

Si Yu’os Ma’åse’ to our amazing ⭐️Star Readers—Emaly Weaver, Reanna Sulla, Amber Ritter-Cruz, Renee-Lynn Sanchez, Jaclyn Dela Cruz, Grace Nasis Claros, and Estella Saloma-Magbitang—⭐️for filling our D204 Lions Clubs Christmas Saturday Story Time with warmth, imagination, and holiday cheer on December 6, 2025.

Our heartfelt appreciation goes to Lions International D204 District Governor Ron Hidalgo for sharing his uplifting Christmas message and highlighting the true importance and lifelong joy of reading. He also gifted each participant a special coloring book with crayons, ensuring the love of reading and art continues long after the event.

We also extend our warmest thanks to the Guahan Isan Famagu’on Leos for leading the fun and festive Christmas arts and crafts activities! The children had an amazing time enjoying the engaging stories, sweet treats, songs, and lively dancing.
