The D204 Lions Club Community Saturday Story Hour, in partnership with the Guam Public Library and the Guam International Literacy Association, that was held September 4, 2021, Guam time, via Zoom was a success! Si Yu'os Ma'ase' to Dr. Darlene Roberto, Barbara Leon Guerrero Godoy, and Samantha Gonzales, for conducting Read Alouds, along with our other celebrity readers, Oprah Winfrey and Mindy Sterling, whose Read Alouds were shared via video. We also thank our amazing audience of children & their families, including D204 IPDG Sumie Kuba, PDG Fely Angel, UOG-SOE Alumni Association President Martha Sudo, ILA Board members Mae Mendiola and Annette Leon Guerrero, Region 1 Chairwoman Ewy Taitano, GIFLC Lion Prexy Patti Quichcocho, Lion Officers & members from Regions 1 & 2, for joining this special reading event. Congratulations also to the winners of the books that were given out to those who correctly answered questions relating to the stories!
