Condolences for the Entilla Family

Catalina Francisco Entilla

The Guahan Isan Famagu'on Lions Club extends its deepest condolences and sympathies to the family of Catalina Francisco Entilla, mother of GIFLC member Lion Annie Kasper.  Catalina, also known as “Lina/Cathy/Taling,” of NCS, Dededo, left this Earth on Dec. 23, 2021, at the age of 88. Mass of Intention is offered daily at 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Yigo. Last respects will be held from 8-11 a.m. Jan. 19 at Guam Memorial Funeral Home in Leyang, Barrigada. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at noon at San Vicente/San Roke Catholic Church in Barrigada. Interment will follow at Guam Memorial Park.  Lina will always be remembered.  God Bless her and her family.  May she rest in peace.

The Peace Poster Contest Awards Presentation was held January 8, 2022 at the District 204 Office in Tamuning, Guam.

Lions Club International D204 Starts the New Year 2022 Saturday Story Hour with a Blast!

Biba Anu Nuebu!  The D204 Lions Club New Year’s Saturday Story Hour, in partnership with the Guam Public Library and the Guam Council of the International Literacy Association, which was held January 8, 2022, via Zoom, was a success!  Si Yu'os Ma'ase' to Lion Daisy G. Ramirez, Lion Tina Buendicho, and International Literacy Association President Liwayway “Lee” Anicas, for their meaningful Read Alouds.  The special Good Morning, New Year’s, and So Long Farewell songs were also sung.  We further thank our amazing audience of children and their families, as well as Lion Mae M.C. Mendiola, Lion Julie Garcia, Lion Mariana Guzman, Lion Rhea Taitano, Lion Yho Villavicencio, Lion Tina Buendicho & IPDG Sumie Kuba, ILA Board Members Martha Sudo and Annette Leon Guerrero, Lion Officers, Leos, and Cubs, for joining us during our D204 Lions Club New Year’s Saturday Story Hour!  Kudos to the International Literacy Association, USCG Auxiliary, and the USO for their generous donations!  Congratulations to the winners of the New Year’s books, calendars, backpacks, and various prizes that were given out to those who correctly answered questions relating to the stories!  Continue to celebrate the love of reading, and enjoy the following snapshots!  🦁📚😘🎉
